Over a 35-year period beginning in the mid-1980s, Australian economist and diplomat Dr Geoff Raby AO assembled an outstanding collection of artworks by more than 75 artists working in China, and in Australia as members of the Chinese diaspora. In Our Time presents a selection of remarkable artworks from this special collection, now part of the La Trobe University Art Collection.
Co-inciding with the Sydney showing, ACAE Gallery is delighted to be featuring a solo exhibition of works by An Kun, also represented in the Raby Collection with five sigature oil paintings. This is An Kun's first solo exhibition in Australia following on from many major shows in Europe, America and China.
