Remembering Gan Guan: Observing The Senses

Gan Guan: Observing The Senses was an exhibition curated by Tony Scott and presented at the Counihan Gallery, Brunswick in 2005. The exhibition featured works by Huang Yan, Chi Peng, Cang Xin, Sheng Qi, Celia Tinyan Ko and Paula Wong.This was the first time that these leading contemporary Chinese artists were exhibited in Australia. Many of those artists are now represented in the collection of the National Gallery of VIctoria, collected in the years following Tony's seminal exhibition.
