New ACAE
Having presented 45 exhibitions since 2019, ACAE Gallery is re-scaling its activities, with opening hours shifting to Saturdays and by appointment.
We look forward to welcoming visitors to our Saturday salon from 12.00 midday. Scholars, collectors, artists, designers, and art enthusiasts are welcome to participate.
We will continue to present exhibitions focusing on contemporary Asian art; our internship program continues apace and we look forward to hosting scholars and curators via our public programs. This will be presented by our partner organisation, the Australian Chinese Art Research Institute.
In other recent activities, Zou Yinong’s studio has hosted visiting artists, including internationally regarded painter Zhou Gang, a prominent Chinese painter and professor based in Hangzhou at the China Academy of Art (CAA). Also, our Melbourne space has presented works by distinguished Hong Kong artists Angela Yuen and Kwong Manchun.
